Support Us

There are many ways to support cancer research. You can donate to the charitable organizations listed below, or volunteer your time to get involved in fundraising initiatives.

All of these organizations provide substantial funds to our local cancer research efforts each year.

Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation
The Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation supports medical research within the Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine and its affiliated health institutions. The Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute is one of the Foundation's supported research initiatives. Donations can be made anytime to the Foundation and designated specifically for the Institute. 100% of your donation goes to BHCRI research.

Canadian Cancer Society
In 2008-2009, the Canadian Cancer Society is funding more than $49 million in leading-edge research projects across the country. As the largest national charitable funder of cancer research in Canada, we are leading the way towards our goal: creating a world where no one has to be afraid of cancer.

Picture a future without breast cancer. The CBCF-AR does. 100% of your support for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation will stay in Atlantic Canada.
